Bayo’s car broke down on Third Mainland Bridge. Smoke everywhere.
He called mechanic, Tunde. Tunde came with toolbox and pure confidence.

*Tunde:* `Oga, na small thing. 20k go fix am.`
*Bayo:* `Ok, do it fast. I’m late for meeting.`

2 hours later. Tunde was sweating, hitting things with spanner.
*Bayo:* `How far?`
*Tunde:* `Oga, e don nearly done. Just "small something" remain.`

Another 1 hour.
*Bayo:* `Tunde, what is this "small something"?`
*Tunde:* `Na the engine oga. E need to come down.`
*Bayo:* `You said small thing!`
*Tunde:* `Yes na. Small engine.`

Bayo paid 20k. Car started. He drove 500 meters. Car died again.
He called Tunde.
*Tunde:* `Oga, sorry. Na another "small something". Bring another 15k.`

Bayo got angry. Towed the car to another mechanic.
New mechanic opened bonnet, looked for 2 minutes.
*New Mechanic:* `Sir, your battery terminal was just loose. I’ve tightened it. That will be 2k.`

Bayo: `...2k?!`
*New Mechanic:* `Yes. Tunde is my apprentice. He’s still learning how to define "small something".`

Bayo called Tunde.
*Bayo:* `Tunde, from today, "small something" = 2k. Anything above that is "big something".`
*Tunde:* `Noted oga. Business is business.`

2 months later, Tunde opened his own workshop. Signboard: `TUNDE MOTORS - We Don’t Do Small Something` 😂

*Moral:* Define your terms before you define your price.
