Chinedu and his girlfriend, Ife, don dey fight for 3 days. Cold war.

Wednesday night, Chinedu was vexed. He typed a long text to his guy, Tunde:
`Bro this girl dey stress me. Everyday attitude. I tire. I think I need to break up abeg.`

He hit send. Put phone down. Slept.

Next morning 6am. His phone was ringing.
It was Ife.

*Ife:* `So you want to break up with me abi?` voice was shaking.
*Chinedu:* `What? No-`
*Ife:* `I saw your text. "I tire. I think I need to break up". Sent to ME.`

Chinedu checked his phone. He had sent the rant... to Ife. Not Tunde.
WhatsApp betrayed him 😭

For 10 seconds, silence.
Then Chinedu said: `Ife wait. That text was not for you. It was for Tunde. I was just blowing off steam.`

*Ife:* `So you talk about me like that with your friends?`
*Chinedu:* `I was angry yesterday. But I don’t want to break up. I want to fix us. Can I come over and explain with breakfast?`

Ife paused. `Come with puff-puff.`

2 hours later, they were talking. Laughing. She even read the text to Tunde on speaker so he could hear how he almost caused breakup 😂

From that day, Chinedu created a new contact: `TUNDE DO NOT MIX`

*Moral:* Anger types fast, but love explains. And always double-check who you’re sending your gist to.
