The Scariest Thing About AI Isn't That It Can Create. It's That Most People Still Don't Know What to

AI can generate images.

AI can write scripts.

AI can create videos.

AI can produce music.

And every day, the technology becomes more powerful.

But the more I explore AI, the more I realise something interesting:

The biggest advantage isn't knowing how to use AI.
Soon, almost everyone will know how.

The real advantage will be knowing what to ask for, what to create, and why it deserves to exist.

Because when everyone has access to the same tools, the tool stops being special.

Your imagination becomes the difference.

AI can give you one hundred versions of an idea—but it cannot replace the experiences, curiosity, emotions and perspective that made you think of that idea in the first place.

That's why I don't believe creativity is disappearing.

I think we're entering a period where original thinking will become even more valuable.

The people who win won't necessarily be the ones with the most powerful AI tools.

They might be the ones with the most interesting ideas.

And that raises a question I'm asking myself as a creative:

If AI can help you create almost anything… what is worth creating?

We are moving from a world where technical ability was the biggest barrier to one where imagination and taste may become the biggest advantage.

You don't always need to know how to draw to visualise an idea.

You don't always need a large production team to experiment with a film concept.

You don't always need expensive equipment to begin exploring a story.

AI is lowering some of those barriers.

But lowering the barrier to creation creates a new problem:

There will be more content than ever before.

More images.

More videos.

More words.

More noise.

So the question isn't simply, “Can I create this?”

The better question is:

“Is this worth someone's attention?”

That is where creativity becomes more than pressing a button.

It becomes about taste.

Perspective.

Storytelling.

Emotion.

And having something to say.

Maybe AI won't make everyone equally creative.

Maybe it will simply reveal who has something worth expressing.
