Enjoy the process

Yesterday we spoke about the little things. I like to think that was more than a write up, but the truth. There’s an unpopular opinion I have today that could get African Millennials on my case:

Dating isn’t about Marriage, but about enjoying the journey to Marriage.

Dating, according to Wikipedia, is “Dating is a stage of romantic relationships in which two individuals engage in an activity together, most often with the intention of evaluating each other's suitability as a partner in a future intimate relationship”, and I love to caption intention

I’m of the opinion that intention is a journey. It first begins with a thought. A thought to get. To get something done, to achieve a plan, and then you take action. Do you see the process?

That’s how it starts, and years down, when you both with be celebra Your anniversaries, you remember the process, so why don’t you enjoy it now?

The marriage that’s the goal is still a process, because you learn to live with one person for the rest of your life, after the wedding what next? Aim to have children? Send them to school? Watch them grow? Watch them marry? Give birth? Die together ? What next?

stop worrying about the aim, and enjoy the process.
