No profit of a million naira can save us;
No work of a million days can give hope ;
All days on the street are but nothing too us;
If we do not plant in the classrooms,
We will have no yams to harvest from the fields.

We need nothing more than pen and paper
Uniforms and our belongings set any day,
Save the fee, our loans for tomorrow,
Keep the aimless men away from us today
We need school fee not bribe price!!

To all who care to listen to our pleas,
Start the struggle now, later will be too late,
Set the pace so we can follow, today,
Not in politics, not in business, not in crime
