The 500 Naira Investment
Kemi collected her salary: 80,000 naira. Rent, transport, food, hair... money finished in 10 days. As usual.
Her friend Ada was different. Same salary, but Ada always had “extra.” Not because she earned more. Because she invested small.
One day Ada told Kemi, “Take 500 naira daily. Buy Gala + La Casera. Sell to your office people. Profit is 200 naira.”
Kemi laughed. “500 naira? What’s that? I need millions, not Gala money.” She ignored it and kept spending on shawarma and data.
3 months later, Ada showed Kemi her result. 500 naira daily × 90 days = 45,000 naira capital. Profit 200 naira daily × 90 = 18,000 naira. She used the profit to buy phone accessories online. Now she makes 5k weekly side income.
Kemi checked her account. Zero. Same story every month: “Salary enter, salary leave.” No trace.
Ada said, “Kemi, millions start with hundreds. The tree you want started as a seed you called ‘too small.’”
Kemi felt ashamed but not hopeless. Next day she bought 10 Gala. Sold 8. Kept 2 profit. Small start.
6 months later, Kemi had her own “Gala money.” Not big yet, but it was growing. She stopped saying “it’s too small” and started saying “it’s my seed.”
*Moral: Don’t wait for big money to start. Start with the small money, and it will become big money.* 💰
