Airdrop Alpha: Aperture, Photon, and DropCamp
Greetings, frens, degens, and humble farmers!
Today I have two new airdrop farming opportunities and an older but still solid one to share with you. Let’s dig in!
Aperture
This is an airdrop campaign I came across just the other day and must say, I’m pretty excited about it. Aperture is an intent Layer 2 system focusing on privacy and user intents in a blockchain context for a more user-friendly experience.
After a quick tour, I found this basically means you can interact with chains and their defi protocols using the Apertures interface. This is actually brilliant because you can combine your regular defi activities and swaps to farming the upcoming Aperture airdrop but more of that later.
The dexes currently supported on Aperture are Uniswap, PancakeSwap, and Aperure’s own dex.
By choosing to use Uniswap you can interact with chains such as Base, Optimism, and Arbitrum while with PancaSwap you can do swaps using BNB Chain and Ethereum. ApertureSwap connects only to Manta Pacific.
Airdrop Campaign
Joining the airdrop campaign is super easy. All you need to do to get started is to connect your social accounts (X & Discord) and you already begin accumulating points which will eventually lead you to earn Aperture’s native token $APTR.
By using Aperture’s defi tools you can earn even points. So far I have only tried the swap feature with a very small amount ($1.50) and even with that managed to collect 100 points so it seems we don’t necessarily need huge amounts to farm this.
For someone new to defi, some of these tasks might feel a bit complex so if you feel lost, you can always ask for help from Aperture’s built-in AI bot — IntentsGPT. To try it out, I asked the bot to explain the use of ranges in opening a liquidity provider position.
Boost Your Progress
The campaign also has boosters to increase the points you are collecting. When you refer to a certain amount of users, you will get a % boost to points you earn from DeFi tasks. For example, for referring 3 new users you get a +30% boost. Additionally, when you have reached a specific point amount, or done a social media quest, you get to join a raffle which will reward you with more points.
The aperture airdrop campaign has got quite a lot of attention in the space and it could still be somewhat underfarmed and potentially a pretty big one too.

Conclusion
To me, the most intriguing part of this airdrop opportunity is the way I can combine it with my other activities. From now on, I plan to use Aperture for all my swaps on different Ethereum virtual machines (EVMs) such as BNB Chain, Base, and Polygon. So when I’m sending assets back and forth while farming the deBridge airdrop, I’ll make sure to do my swapping on both ends with Aperture. This will all add to the mega snowball of airdrops I’m constantly creating. 😊
Aperture is very simple to get into, all you need is an EVM wallet(MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) and some social accounts(X, Discord). After that, it’s up to you how much time and effort you want to put in. It is stated on their page that ‘All points will be converted to $APTR’ which suggests that even those with smaller contributions might get rewarded.

Photon Supernova
This here is a very simple airdrop opportunity on the testnet phase. Besides having a cool name, Photon Supernova is focusing on scaling Bitcoin functionalities which makes it pretty interesting and trending in books.
To join the airdrop you are going to need to connect your X account and your EVM wallet. After that, you need to add the chain to your wallet(chain specs on the airdrop page). Then claim testnet tokens and stake some of them(stake doesn’t currently work for me). Also, remember to do short and easy Galxe quests and that’s it!
DropCamp
As a sort of a bonus, I thought I’d add DropCamp here as well since it’s one of my favorite platforms at the moment.
DropCamp has already the $AXV token but there’s even more coming up! What is great about this one is you can decide on which areas to focus on. You can do social tasks (currently ended), stake assets, hold assets, or invite friends to rank up.
For the previous Astrovault airdrop, we need to have a patch(NFT) to be eligible. As you can see in the picture below, there are still 3 more slots next to the first patch so I’m assuming there’s still plenty of time to start farming DropCamp. Invite code: 6k50F
