Miranda Kerr

Miranda May Kerr, born on 20 April 1983, is an Australian model and businesswoman who gained prominence in 2007 as one of the Victoria Secret Angels. Kerr holds the distinction of being the first Australian Victoria's Secret model and has also represented the Australian department store chain David Jones. Beyond her modeling career, she has ventured into entrepreneurship, launching her own brand of organic skincare products, KORA Organics, and authoring a self-help book.

Kerr's journey in the fashion industry began at the age of 13 when she won the 1997 Dolly magazine model search competition. Her modeling success has been consistently recognized, as she has appeared on the Forbes list of highest earning models since 2008.
In her personal life, Miranda Kerr was previously married to English actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she had her first son. Since 2017, she has been married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, and together they have two children.

Miranda Kerr was born in Sydney and raised in Gunnedah, New South Wales, to parents Therese and John Kerr. Her mother was 17 years old at the time of Kerr's birth. She has a younger brother named Matthew, who is two years her junior. Kerr's ancestry is predominantly English, with smaller traces of Scottish and French heritage.During her childhood, Kerr enjoyed activities such as racing motorbikes and riding horses on her grandmother's farm in the Australian countryside. She has described this period as very grounding, highlighting the lack of pretentiousness and the freedom to be oneself without judgment.

As a teenager, Kerr spent time as an exchange student in Virginia, U.S. Her family later moved to Brisbane, Queensland, to provide Kerr and her brother with an experience of city life. Initially hesitant to leave her hometown, Gunnedah, Kerr's perspective changed after the tragic death of her first boyfriend, Christopher Middlebrook, in a car accident during their teenage years, making it too painful for her to stay there.Miranda Kerr graduated from All Hallows' School in 2000. Initially, she pursued studies in nutrition and health psychology before eventually embarking on her successful modeling career.

2013–present: Continued success

Discussions to extend her five-year agreement with David Jones did not reach fruition, resulting in an amicable separation between the two parties. The subsequent month revealed that Kerr's three-year, 1-million deal with Victoria's Secret would not be renewed. Unnamed sources asserted that Kerr had a challenging reputation and was not a major seller for VS. Nevertheless, Kerr's representatives clarified that she couldn't dedicate the required time to the brand. In response, Ed Razek, the chief marketing officer of Victoria's Secret, mentioned he had already invited Kerr to participate in that year's fashion show. Kerr was featured on the cover of Vogue Australia in April and Vogue Korea in July.

She secured the second spot in Forbes' 2013 list of the world's highest-paid models, with estimated earnings of 7.2 million, a 3.2 million increase, and a five-place jump from the previous year. In October, Kerr was named the face of Austrian crystal house Swarovski for their fall 2013 campaign. In December, she starred in the first national campaign of the social shopping website ShopStyle.
