most dangerous narcissists are by far are the covert narcissists. Covert narcissists believe themselves to be good people. Humble. Caring and some even think they are empaths. Covert narcissists are the most confusing because of the way they present themselves in the world. They are not obvious like the overt grandiose narcissists. So the abuse is so unexpected. They do some good things especially for the people outside the home. None the less. That’s what makes them so confusing. Are they good or are they bad? This is overwhelming because you never know who you are really dealing with. They also see themselves as victims and wholeheartedly believe life has dealt them a bad hand. Because they are always gaslighting and convinced they are the underdogs. It makes you doubt your own perception. They also abuse in more insidious ways so it’s hard to detect what really going on. If you don’t have understanding of the cunning ways they abuse. It’s easier for them to hurt you without your detection.
