China 'unleashes' new strategy to boost economic growth, 'smash' all doubts of the US and Europe about electric vehicles The two sides have stepped up dialogue and cooperation in various fields, but "negative factors in the bilateral relationship are increasing... And the relationship is facing all sorts of rifts."

According to the veteran Chinese diplomat, the two countries' relations face many big questions, requiring sincerity, which the international community is waiting for answers: Should we steadily move forward or return to the downward spiral? Should we jointly lead international cooperation in solving global problems and achieving goals of mutual benefit for all, or engage in competition and confrontation or even fall into conflict to "lose together"?

Foreign Minister Wang Yi said: "China's position is consistent. We have always adhered to the principles set by President Xi Jinping, which are mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation, and are committed to maintaining a stable, healthy and sustainable Beijing-Washington relationship."

Beijing has also called on Washington to "not interfere in China's internal affairs, not to stifle development and not to step on the red line of sovereignty, security and development interests" of the world's No. 2 economy.

For his part, Secretary Blinken expressed hope that the two sides will make progress on issues agreed upon by President Biden and President Xi Jinping, including the resumption of anti-drug cooperation; restart dialogue between the militaries of the two countries; Let's look to the future of artificial intelligence and try to strengthen human connections.

Highlighting the importance of active diplomacy and direct diplomacy, he urged the two sides to seriously make efforts to "manage their differences responsibly," to "at least avoid misunderstandings, miscalculations."

Secretary of State Blinken is on his 2nd visit to China in less than 1 year. Observers say his visit is aimed at trying to stabilize relations between the United States and China.
