Sahara desert

The Sahara Desert is a vast expanse of desert that covers much of northern Africa. It is the largest hot desert in the world, stretching across an area of more than 3.5 million square miles. The desert is home to a wide variety of plant and animal life, including camels, snakes, and lizards, as well as a number of species of cactus and other desert-adapted plants.
