The Sparingly Few

To love what the rest of the world hates. To understand what infuriates and disgusts all. To want what everyone desires to destroy. A tiny few experience that feeling once or twice in their entire lifetime, while others never experience it at all.


It's more than an emotion, it is an ideology, a belief, and a conviction. One that would paint you a fanatic, should the world be unfortunate to know. One that would make you a freak, unwanted, hated.


To experience that, to be part of that 0.0000001 percent is to be free from the shackles of public opinion, it is to have thoughts that do not see the need to conform to the wishes or beliefs of the masses, those are the truly free.


Yet it isn't always a good thing. These publicly unadoptable ideologies could sometimes be in the wrong, they/it could lead one to insanity and depravity. Well, nothing ever is purely good, there's always a grey area and a stain of black here and there. The trick knowing when the wave is just putting on displaying for the beach and when it wants to drown a town.
