*Morning with Ronaldo – 250 Words*

The alarm buzzed at 5:00 AM. Most of Lisbon was still asleep, wrapped in quiet and darkness, but in a small, crowded apartment, 12-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo was already moving.

He sat on the edge of his bed, laced up his worn boots, and grabbed the old football with tape holding it together. No light on, no fuss. He slipped out quietly so his family could sleep and walked to the empty street near his home. The streetlights cast a dim yellow glow, and the cold morning air made his breath visible. No teammates, no coach, no crowd. Just him, the ball, and a brick wall.

_Tap. Tap. Tap._
The sound echoed through the quiet street as he began his routine. 500 touches against the wall before school. Right foot, left foot, chest, thigh, head. He counted every touch. His neighbors knew the rhythm so well that if they didn’t hear it by 5:30, they’d wonder if he was ill.

One morning, his older brother Hugo leaned out the window, shivering. “It’s freezing out there! Go back to bed, Cristiano!”
Cristiano didn’t stop dribbling. He looked up and replied, “If I stop, someone else gets better than me.”

That was the mindset. While other kids slept, he was building the habit that would later define him. Years later, when reporters asked why he was always the first to training and the last to leave, he would smile and say, “I learned it at 5 AM, against a wall in Lisbon.”

That morning habit didn’t make him famous overnight. It made him ready. When opportunity came, he didn’t have to get ready—he was already ready.

*Moral*: Talent opens the door, but discipline is what gets you up before everyone else to walk through it.
