Reminders

I can't stop searching for reminders of you and the love we shared. It was foolish of me to hold on for so long, but now I have to find a way to let go. You never let me in or allowed me to try to fix what was broken between us. It all started on that fateful morning when I woke up and found that you had left without any explanation.
You carried your burden alone, and I wish I could have been there to lighten the load for you. But now you're gone, and my heart feels heavy and old. I find myself longing for the past, when things were easier and our love was strong. But I know I have to move on and find a way to heal.
It's hard to say goodbye to the memories of you, but I have to accept that our love has run its course. I'll always treasure the good times we had and the lessons I learned from loving you. Maybe someday we'll cross paths again and reminisce about the past. Until then, I'll keep these memories of you close to my heart and try to find a way to move forward.
