Caught in the Web3: A SheFi story
However, what I mean to say is that I possess a potential in diverse fields of knowledge and a conflict of interest arises every once in a while, that I find myself at a crossroads with zero incline on where to go.
And what does that have to do with WEB3? You might ask. Well, let me explain.
This summer, I took a leap of fate(very unconventional) and splurged into the waters of tech and crypto. This was unknown territory to me, for all I've ever known was Music, the Chemistry I have a degree in and writing which has been my greatest passion. In my quest for understanding, I found SheFi.
SheFi, an online academy dedicated to educating women across the world about Web3 and decentralised finance, honored me with a scholarship and I secured my seat amongst exceptional women ready to change the world and push the future of crypto forward.
By the second class, I was introduced to Blockchains and Decentralisation became a word I heard a million and one times. It was like something was unlocked inside of me, an awakening to a whole new world. I found myself asking, "what is this place?".
I was caught in the web and with each new concept I was taught, I felt further weaved into it. Never have I thought I'd be soo fascinated about new knowledge.
Learning about the different sponsors for the season too was another Eureka moment for me;

After 8 weeks of classes, it feels like just the beginning for me and here I am now still trying to find my bearing. Web3 is like a place where all my personalities can coexist in one piece. The writer me, the business me, the musician and the chemist. Multifaceted, Is that really the word to describe this? 🤔
Anyways, all thanks to SheFi, I'm now a Web3 baddie in transit and I am loving the ride!
