Too good to be true?

I know in some VERY rare and specific cases it will definitely not be true, and maybe even the broader ones, but I am convinced that every scenario or every person has their upsides and downsides. There are always faults to be had, negatives, things you would rather are a little bit different.

I find this concept interesting... It's almost like an on-going mystery until it finally happens! Something seems so great, so amazing, yet statistically, you know something must be up, right? The phrase too good to be true is kind of true, not necessary but it kind of is. It's generally a term that gets used as a joke but I believe it is true. For maybe one instance yes something could be too good to be true but it is in fact true, but in the larger picture, it may not be true. Good things can lead to good things which can lead to bad things. Good things can't lead to good things forever right?

Funny, but accurate, in my opinion at least.

Now what prompts the thought too good to be true? Is it because of a past but similar experience that did at first seem too good to be true then turned out not to be? Is it quite literally too good to be true because the two or more things that are occurring are simply not possible? Or is it what prompts the thought being because in life, sometimes things are too good to be true? Is it that, you believe in life, all occurrences balance out over time? When you experience good feelings now, will those feelings even out later on in life? Whilst we can control a lot of things that can affect the overall outcome, there are also a lot of things we simply cannot control in life. To me, these things that you cannot control are what keeps the balance and order in the existence of humans.

Now, this quote is a bit far fetched, it doesn't have to happen at the worst possible moment... Though it may seem like it, anything going wrong will generally seem like it happened at the worst time simply just because it happened! But I don't think this quote is too far fetched. If there is a possibility for something to go wrong, there is always a possibility for something to go wrong, no more no less. Generally, things are harder than it looks and will take longer than you anticipate.

To summarise, I firmly believe that the phrase "Too good to be true" is very much real, and should carry a lot of weight in a persons decision making, but it doesn't mean that's always the case... But... It also doesn't mean it's never the case!
