Today, we’ll explore another interesting project — Fuel Network, evaluate its technology, and discuss what activities to perform to possibly receive a drop in the future.

What is Fuel Network?

Fuel is the fastest modular transaction execution layer, providing maximum security and flexible throughput. Fuel aims to become the execution layer in the modular blockchain stack. This means Fuel does not support consensus and does not store blockchain data on its network.
In terms of investments, the project has raised $81.5 million from Blockchain Capital, Stratos Technologies, CoinFund, and many other funds.

Fuel Network is a modular blockchain developed using its proprietary programming language, Sway.
Fuel emerged as an L2 scaling technology for Ethereum. But since its inception, the project has grown and can now boast some of the best and brightest engineers and support from top blockchain companies and industry leaders.
Now, Fuel is a high-speed blockchain and already offers rollup solutions, as we discussed here.

What’s the Action Plan?

Install Fuel Wallet by following the link.
Create a new wallet, save the seed phrase in a secure place — preferably on a paper medium. DO NOT COPY the Seed phrase!

3. We’ll use the official Fuel Network bridge. Connect the wallet by clicking the “Connect Ethereum Wallet” button:

Choose the amount of SepoliaETH we want to transfer to Fuel and click “Deposit”:
Confirm the transaction.
Optionally, we can perform the reverse operation — Withdraw from Fuel to Sepolia — using the “Withdraw from Fuel” tab.
4. We’ll use the Swaylend faucets — where it’s necessary to mint test tokens — same procedure: connect the Fuel Wallet, mint test BTC, ETH, Uniswap, and so on:

5. Interact with the SwayFarm game. Connect the wallet. Create a character:
Go here — purchase seeds, signing the transaction:
Now simply plant the seeds — and wait for our tomatoes to grow:
To harvest, step on the plot and click “Harvest” — sign the transaction:
Now we can plant tomatoes again using the seeds. Alternatively, we can sell tomatoes — returning to the Market:
5. The next DApp — Spark — go and connect the wallet. Add the test network Arbitrum Sepolia:

Then return to Spark and mint the test tokens:

Now return to the Trade tab and open any position. For example, Long on BTC-USDC. Choose the position size through “Order Size” or through the slider and confirm the transaction:
