Huygens Testnet Announcement

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first testnet, “Huygens,” which went live on March 11, 2024, at 00:00 (UTC). This marks an important step in our Titan Network journey to explore the boundaries of decentralization and we invite all of you to join us in this exciting opportunity!
1. Why “Huygens”? 🔭
Inspired by Christiaan Huygens, the trailblazing Dutch astronomer who discovered Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, our testnet aims to celebrate and pay tribute to the indomitable spirit of exploration that defined his work. Just as Huygens expanded the horizons of space exploration, we are committed to traversing the vast, unexplored territories of blockchain technology.
2. Public Testnet Program 👾
To ensure a smooth and accessible testnet experience, we are providing both a PC client and a command-line version of the testnet. They are designed to be easy to install and run, allowing users to effortlessly participate in the testing process.

3. Testnet incentives ✨
Participation in the testnet is not only instrumental for our network validation but also a chance to become a part of our growing ecosystem. Throughout the testing phase, contributions will be recorded and participants will be rewarded for their valuable input and support with TTN1 credits. The community will be able to turn those credits into mainnet tokens once the Titan Network mainnet goes live.
